For today's episode, I'm sitting down with Elora Maxwell. She's a first-time author with plenty to say about books and the publishing industry in general. Her debut novel, which comes out July 26th, deals with the sinking of the SS Andrea Doria and events surrounding this fateful night. It remains among the most terrible of catastrophes in the water and is rarely, if ever taught in schools. Her book and the story behind it are so unique and impressive, I had to have her on. Her advice to aspiring authors and those seeking inspiration is also outside the norm and worth a listen.
